Charles E. Edwards, 64, of 1740 Union St, died at 2:13 a.m. Sunday in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. A lifetime resident of Lafayette, he was born in Fountain County June 16, 1923. He attended Lafayette Schools. Mr. Edward had been a truck driver for Fauber Construction and Tippecanoe County Highway Department several years. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Jessie Balensiefer of Lafayette. – kbz
